El resultado final no es el que esperaba, pero tengo que cumplir con el plazo de entrega de los trabajos. Espero que la siguiente composición esté mejor. En esta veo muchos fallos: la proporción del ratón es diferente a la de la anterior ilustración, no he sabido muy bien cómo resolver la textura del tronco y el árbol, resultando en un lío de líneas que distrae mucho, el encaje del ratón tiene algo que no me gusta...en fin, una ilustración que salió torcida desde el principio. ¡Pues nada, a seguir!

I'm not happy about the final result. I had some difficulties finding the right angle and perspective of the composition, but still, it's not quite working, and the linework is not great either. I had to meet the university's deadlines anyway, so I just had to go all the way with what I had. I can only hope now that the next illo will be better than this one!

Dejo por hoy el boceto de la tercera ilustración de la novela de Redwall. En esta ocasión, Matthias parte en busca del búho blanco Captain Snow (Capitán Nieve), quien puede darle pistas para hallar una anhelada espada perdida hace años.

Here I post the third sketch of another illustration based on the Redwall novel. This time, Matthias seeks to find Captain Snow, who might be able to tell him of the whereabouts of an anciente lost sword.
